Magic Sweater is an illustrator based in Melbourne, Australia who is inspired by classic comics and cartoons. His influences include Harvey comics, classic Disney animated features, early Peanuts, vintage Little Golden books, animator Jim Tyer, Hanna Barbera cartoons and Mad Magazine.

Magic Sweater’s artwork is mostly created with traditional mediums such as pen and ink or lead pencil and then either coloured digitally or traditionally.

His most notable work includes designing a 20 page colouring book for Anorak Magazine (UK) and creating instore artwork for the Australian burger chain Grill’d.

Other previous clients include Nickelodeon, Anorak Press, The Grates, The Hype Machine, The Lifted Brow, Signal (City of Melbourne), Faesthetic Magazine, Syrup Pirates, Spindle Magazine, The Silent Army, Fabio Ongarato Design, Beautiful/Decay and Amelia’s Magazine.
